To the legislative body in Albany NY:

We the undersigned citizens of the United States of America and New York State residents petition for the following:

1) Accountability in the form of checks and balances on the Department of Social Services; specifically to curb the uncontrolled power of Child Protective Services and Family Placement Services. An immediate investigation at every county level is requested into the uncontrolled and out of control practices of CPS and FPS. Many innocent children and families are needlessly suffering, resulting in Child and Family Abuse by the government. The focus needs to be placed on family preservation and not family breakup.

2) Family Court reform at the State level, specifically enforcement of the participant’s constitutional rights as stated in the Bill of Rights and the Constitution of the United States of America. We also insist on due process of law (jury of peers), and close adherence to the fourteenth amendment. Thank you.
